With his installation, Give the Drummer Some!, artist Robert Earl Paige invites Smart Museum visitors into a colorful world of design and pattern. Join the museum for this Family Day and design your own brilliant world! Imagine, sculpt, and assemble 3D landscape tiles inspired by real-life environments or create fictional worlds through modeling clay, wooden sculpture, and other modes of construction, drawing from Paige’s vibrant patterns that fill the walls, floors, and furniture of the Smart’s lobby. Drop in; all families and kids of all ages are welcome.
